Marghertia Manzelli produces extremely delicate, fluid paintings which focus on soft floral patterns and the draping of fabrics around the body. The softness of these parallels the fragility of the girls she paints. The young girls are extremely gaunt, there is quite a sinister appearance in their faces which is juxtaposed with the innocence of the soft, floral patterns.
